For me, it took a while to get Beachbody on Demand. Why? Stubborn…maybe? Who knows, but I have always been a gym guy and didn’t think I needed anything else.
The real truth is that as I get older and life gets busier, I don’t always have access to get to the gym. And since I have been doing my old Beachbody workouts, I hit a wall, plateau, or kind of a stalemate with my workouts.
Last black Friday, I even joined a new gym on a great special thinking I would get to it more if it was such a great deal. And then shortly after, I signed up for a Beachbody on demand challenge pack! I mean it was like they were giving it away for free!
Since then I can tell you that in the last four months I have only been to the gym once or twice, but I have only missed a few days of workouts because of Beachbody On Demand!
So, lets get to it!
My Beachbody On Demand Reviews: The Good, Bad, and Ugly
By far, the best thing for me on any Beachbody program is their workout calendars. Because of this, I am able to keep on track of what I need to do and when I need to do it. They keep it simple!
However, when I was on the DVD programs I would have trouble staying on my calendar when I would travel. Even if I did take them with me, sometimes not all the DVDs would make it back! Have you ever found an old P90x DVD in a hotel DVD player? It was probably mine, but thats ok, you can keep it!
The good of the Beachbody on Demand is simple: It goes where you go!
If you have a laptop or iPad, just find some space on the floor and start your workout! If you are traveling, there are a ton of workouts you can do that don’t require equipment beside your body!
Here are just a few…
- 22 Minute Hard Corps
- Insanity Max 30
- Core De Force
- 3 Week Yoga Retreat
If you are not traveling and can keep up on your workout calendar, having all access to every program is great!
Why? Well, the last program I started was Body Beast and it was awesome! But after the 90 days was complete I wanted to change it up, so I started Core De Force, the great new MMA style strenth and cardio program. Not only is it great to change it up for the fun factor, but also my body needed a break for the Body Beast program.
And with Beachbody on Demand, I had full access to both programs without having to purchase anything new!
It really is like carrying a personal trainer around with you!

I will say that I actually love the Beachbodoy On Demand all access! Before I had trouble figuring out what to do, planning my workouts around my schedule and more. Now, I just pull out my iPad and choose my workout based on my calendar or time.
In the beginning of On Demand, I heard that it had buffering problems and would freeze. I can tell you that I have not had any of those problems to date. The only technical issue I have is that it gets blurry now and then, but the workouts don’t stop. Mostly, I think it depends upon your internet connection.
Overall, the only bad Beachbody on Demand Reviews I have is that you have completely eliminated any excuse you could possibly have to workout!

Now for the Ugly…
Push play on Insanity Pure Cardio and when you are finished, take a selfie! There’s your ugly…
You will be a mess, sweat dripping, hair everywhere, and a puddle on the ground! If that ain’t ugly I don’t know what is!
