This 4 Week Wedding Diet is not meant for those of you who want to leisurely lose weight before you wedding. It is meant for those who are serious about getting fit fast for their wedding and ready to put in the work and effort to get it done!
I was just on another site reading about their 3 week wedding diet which offered no help. So much so that all the comments complained about no help at all. Now, if you are here, it is my goal to give you awesome information that you can use and prepare you for your wedding that is just a month away.
4 Week Wedding Diet Goals
Alright, the big day is just 4 weeks away:
- How much weight do you want to lose before your Wedding Day
- How many inches do you want to trim before your Wedding Day Pictures
- How badly do you want to look awesome in your wedding dress
- How much do you want to look better than all the brides maids
Ask yourself these questions and if you want it bad enough then you will be committed to your 4 week wedding diet. Often times I have read about people who want to lose weight for their wedding and knock the socks off of everyone who attends.
However they make comments like:
- I don’t really want to stop eating junk food
- I hate to exercise
- I can’t do it
Baloney! You can do it, and you will have to get uncomfortable. Nothing great ever came from anything that was easy. What do you think the people thought when they decided to build the great wall of China? The workers were like, you want to do what? WTF, seriously?!
You catch my drift. To lose weight fast, it requires:
This program will work, I promise you! When I met my first wedding client that wanted a 4 week wedding diet plan I was amazed. She wanted to lose 12 pounds before her wedding that was in 5 weeks. I thought no problem, yet with three weeks and counting the weight was only coming off slowly. She was not happy and wanted to shred and shred now!
Ok, we can do that but there are a few things to understand when you want to lose weight fast!
4 Week Wedding Diet Warning
Ok, to lose weight fast for your wedding there are a few things you need to know:
1 Everyone is different and each individual weight loss results will vary and be different
2 Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pound per week and with aggressive weight loss, it will come back. It might even come back after the honeymoon. But hey, that’s ok, you have your pictures, right?!
3 It will suck! This is a high intensity program and you will hate every minute of it. All except the Results!
Now that I have the disclaimer out of the way, let’s get to the workout!
Remember, this is a 4 Week Wedding Diet and Exercise Program. Its over in only 30 days!
The 4 Week Wedding Diet
1 Exercise – Exercise is the key to get shredded on this program. High Intensity Training will be your base workout that will help you get fit fast for your wedding. Personally, I did Insanity with Sean T for my wedding, but there are other programs out there that will get the job done like Turbulence Training or Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.
2 Cardio – Add high intensity cardio training 2-3 times per week to supplement your HIT training. What is high intensity cardio training? I recommend warming up on the tread mill for 10 minutes, kick up the pace on incline and speed for another 10 minutes, and then move to the step mill for as long as you can handle it not to exceed 40 minutes.
The Step Mill is that machine that when you look at the people on it, it looks like they are in a prison. You know sweat, pain, fear! Just kidding, but seriously you will sweat your ass off and start shredding pounds.
3 Calendar– Start a six day workout calendar! Here is my suggestion:
Monday – Wednesday – Friday – 30-40 minutes of HIT
Tuesday – Saturday – High Intensity Cardio
Thursday – Yoga or light stretching and a brisk walk on the Treadmill
4 Calories – For women, be careful when cutting calories. Don’t go to far below 1500-1600 calories a day. I recommend a high protein diet and if you want a good plan, check out the Paleo Diet or the first second part of the South Beach Diet
5 Food – Here is a good rule of thumb:
No packages, no boxes, no dairy and limit your alcohol intake. If you gotta drink, try vodka but limit what you take in because of the post drinking food binge.
The 4 Week Wedding Diet Review
Overall, if you stick to these guidelines you will start to melt away fat. When I switched my client over to this plan she said I was right, she did hate it! Its more of a love hate really, instead of dropping 12 pounds in 5 weeks, she dropped 20 pounds in three!
What was her key to success? Every moment she had, she was up on that step mill melting away the fat. That mixed with 3 days a week with a Personal Trainer and High Intensity Training, she was able to look awesome for her wedding day photos.
