Have you ever known anyone that has joined the military and then seen pictures after they finish boot camp? It’s amazing! Not only do they become a different more mature person, but they are totally ripped!
With Tony Horton’s newest creation, 22 Minute Hare Corps, you will get in boot camp shape in just 8 weeks. Unlike his other body transformations in the p90X series, this 22 Hard Corps workout is short, sweet, and to the point.
Setting You Goals
When I was ready for a new home workout program, my goal was to get fit fast for the summer! Since I had completed some other home workout programs, I was not starting from scratch, and I wanted to lose weight fast.
22 Hard Corps may be THE home workout program for you if:
- You want to get in shape fast
- Don’t have a lot of time to commit each day
- Are just starting out or trying to shred some body fat
Is 22 Minutes A Day Enough?
Take it from a veteran fitaholic…this program is fast and efficient! You may be skeptical, but it is very similar to other programs less a warm up or pre-workout stretch.
I started with Insanity and eventually I was skipping the warm up and stretch. And Sean T was shredding my body fat, 20 minutes at a time.
The 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout Calendar
This workout Calendar is simple. You have an 8 week calendar alternating resistance training and cardio and abs for 8 weeks. Each week is different, but the principle of strength vs cardio is the same.
And one of my favorite parts of this program is that it is not your typical indoor gym format. You are working out with real military vets on their turf.
Some workouts are in a field, and some are in an airplane hanger. It really is different than anything you have done before.
The 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout
The moves in this program really recruit a whole body of muscles. Because of this it takes more energy to keep the body in motion which burns more fat.
And if you don’t think 22 minutes a day is enough to see awesome results, I dare you to prove me wrong!
Here is a snap shot of your 22 Minute Hard Corps program:
Day 1 Cardio and Abs
Day 2 Resistance Training
Day 3 Cardio and Abs
Day 4 Resistance Training
Day 5 Cardio and Abs
Day 6 Resistance Training
Day 7 Rest…You will need it!
Rinse and Repeat for 8 Weeks! But, it doesn’t stop there. Each week the workouts change up and you never get used to the workouts. That’s how you avoid plateaus and get ripped!
22 Hard Corps Reviews…Sir, Yes Sir!!
My 22 Hard Corp Reviews are 5 Stars!

1 for fun and simplicity
1 for the Vets…Hoorah!
As many people think, 22 minutes is not enough to get a good workout. Well Tony has a solution for everything! If you need a warm up, there is a cold start 10 minute warm up to get the blood and juices flowing.
Follow that up with your boot camp, butt kicking style, you will be sure to get your butt in gear.
There really is not a lot of complexity in this workout program. There are not a lot of jumps (which at 40 I hate) and the moves keep you sweating…. hard corps!
If you want to feel like a new recruit and lose weight fast, go hard corps!
